TESTIMONIALS
"My sister had you do a piece of my father, brother and myself. I wanted to tell you how grateful I am for the effort you put forth on the painting. I got very emotional when I first saw it and reflected back to the day l Iast played golf with my dad and brother. you captured the moment beautifully. The painting is proudly displayed right at my front door for all to see. Thank you for giving me a lasting memory."

"I got your painting of Meanie in the mail today - thank you so much!! I love it, and I know Meanie would too. It looks just like my hammie! This painting brings me lots of smiles, especially since my dwarf hamster passed away a few months ago. I love how you painted the background almost like a "rainbow bridge." Gosh I can't stop smiling. Thank you MJ!"

"What a lovely rendition of our dear old friend Lightning! You have captured his warm gaze and his shaggy coat to a T! He looks so real I can almost smell the old boy! Since he was a country dog, it's heartwarming to remember our pet as you have painted him, in a field of wildflowers against a perfect-day sky."

Chief Five Crows "For many years I had searched for an artist that could interpret and paint a historical family event for my art collection. I recently met Mary Jill and was quite impressed with her artwork. I relayed to her my dream of having a painting commissioned to honor the memory of a Native American Indian chief that had fallen in love with my great grandmother after having spied her on a wagon train passing through Oregon in 1847. M.J. enthusiastically accepted the project, and much to my delight, posted her artistic progress on the web for me to watch. M.J. worked closely with me to understand the vision I had for the painting and used a photograph of the real chief to capture his essence. M.J. did a fabulous job! She brought to life Chief Five Crows holding council with his namesakes, perhaps discussing matters of the heart and the unrequited love he had for a woman named Lorinda. Thank you M.J. for turning my dream into a reality on canvas. For anyone looking for a talented artist that is wonderful to work with, I highly recommend M.J. Lemieur. I promise you won’t be disappointed!" Lisa Campbell - Boston, Massachusetts |
